My grandfather's house on a hilltop overlooking Sidon in South Lebanon. this image was cast with pastel pencils on watercolor paper. Since then, I have customized paintings for clients based on photgraphs they have sent me of their homes or favorite places

Mr. Dagher. I lived in the house of your grandfather from 1958 through 1964. So I knew the family well. I would like to know who your parents were just out of interest. I dont know if you have been back to Lebanon but the house looks totally different now, as does the whole are around it. My oldestr son was there last May and he took a picture of the rear of the house, complete with fountain. I do miss the wonderful grapes that Mr. Nahas grew in the back. John Makkinje
